Personal biography
Sameeha is currently working as psychologist currently working with the Block Resource Centres in Mala and Mathilakam, providing comprehensive mental health support to schools under both block panchayats. Her role includes conducting counselling sessions, structured behavioural therapy sessions for students, addressing emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns, and facilitating parenting sessions to promote healthy family environments. She also handles cases on a private basis, including addiction-related issues, family conflicts, and individual psychological concerns, with a focus on empathetic and evidence- based care.
Her educational background includes a postgraduate degree in Psychology. Alongside her academic journey, she has pursued specialized training to strengthen her practice, including a Diploma in Learning Disability and a one-year PG diploma in Child and Adolescent Counselling. These qualifications have enhanced her ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and families across diverse psychological needs.
